For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
Fantastic!
The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
This movie is the most original comedy movie I've ever seen and I've seen a ton of movies and I think this movie is very underrated like people are treating this movie badly you need to please give this movie attention you can watch itAnywhere right now with fxnow and it's very short it's like 90 minutes just please watching this movie support because I am DB's ratings are all like people who have strong opinions we need to get this movie up to a 9.0
This movie isn't designed for artist views and pretentiousness. It's meant to be crass and stupid and entertaining. It provided me with more laughs in a movie I've had in so long. Just because you find this movie funny doesn't make you stupid it just means you've got a decent sense of humour and don't take life too seriously where a movie is concerned. Jonah Hill is one of the best in this movie complimented with Vince Vaughn's stone cold faced humour. I loved it. I would watch it again. Feel down watch this for just the stupidity and laughter.
It's a story of aliens invading the world and one of them is defecting to the earthlings. Crazy situations and scenes. Believers that organize a watch. This is a movie to relax by, to put your brains on zero and enjoy. This movie makes you laugh. Some situations are created to make this movie believable and even this scenes make you laugh. Like I said, it's a movie to relax by.
From the main sequence in the Watch, everything that comes to mind is when Neighborhood Watch decides to take pictures with an alien. Then there's the way the movie draws such a huge emphasis to alien genitals and the argument between Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn with implications that last maybe two minutes. The screenplay starts to feel like it's dragging your face in the mud as Jonah Hill's incessant rambling and shouting at his mother along with six or seven dozen unneeded sex jokes make up for much of its unnecessary body mass. Directed by one of SNL writers, it is clear that while watching the Watch, it felt like an SNL sketch that went on far too long. From the start, the aliens in the film have something big planned that keep the four men who make up "Neighborhood Watch" busy and paranoid. This comedy attempting to blend with sci-fi and action might have been better with better writing, and more clever jokes. For starters, the jokes went flat and felt very forced. It was expected with an R rating, but given the R rating, great comedic writers have made it worked. An example would be 21 Jump Street which was released the same year. As we see in the Watch, the film isn't clever enough or interesting enough.
