It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

I really like Diane Kruger, but Monica Bellucci in the original is terrific. It's certainly not a coincidence that the name of the restaurant in Wicker Park where Josh Hartnett overhears Diane Kruger's conversation is named Bellucci's!! That's real respect. The french version is full of comedy, this American remake has next to none. It's worth getting a copy of "Le Apartment" if you enjoy this.

I'm not a big fan of drama / romances but I saw that it was also a mystery movie so I gave it a shot. And I'm really glad I did because Wicker Park is above good. In the beginning it was slow and I was wondering if the story was going anywhere. You constantly wonder what's going on between Matt (played by Josh Hartnett) and Lisa (played by Diane Kruger). They clearly like each other, and so far there is no mystery. It's when you add Alex (played by Rose Byrne) and Luke (played by Matthew Lillard) that it's getting interesting. You have to concentrate from the beginning to understand everything but it certainly is worth it. I didn't see it coming, so you could say the second part of the movie was a surprise, and it was a good one. Good actors, and an even better story makes Wicker Park a most enjoyable movie. One of the better movies I saw lately.

I absolutely love this movie!! I have seen it dozens of times and it never gets old. Such an unexpected gem of a movie. Suspense and romance tied up into one intelligently done flick! Great acting and the music is perfect. I love the Scientist by Coldplay,so that sealed the deal for me!! I really wish there were more movies done like this. It is one that really keeps your mind open and alert because you have to somewhat pay attention. It has some unexpected twists and is not too predictable. I often recommend this movie to friends especially friends who like chick flick and thriller type movies. This is a good one!One of my top favorites.

After seen enough those cool best "headshot" movies, this was really a positive surprise. I am still sure bit confused about the story so I need to watch it again and again to understand it totally for every detail but..even after one shot it was amazing new fresh experience in movies. Very well done and amazing "cruel" story. And I have always wondered those who watch same movie on and on, but my reason is bit different;)This could really be recommended for those who have seen enough murdering and killing in "good" movies. It was only one heel broken but even it didn't hurt too much;) And as somebody told, after first half hour someone could begin to wonder what the heck is so cool in this boring "Lovestory". But kinda love story it was anyway.
