It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

in the era of political correctness, this film is fresh air. for its humor, for its remind of small things, for define the purpose and life and responsibility, for the perspective about the other, for the courage to show the vulnerability as virtue. because it is a film about freedom. and the way to assume it. it is a lovely comedy about the small people, out of appearances and diagnosis. so, a film about the people as answer to our looking for life sense. wise, seductive, simple, honest and direct. and this facts did it great. because it is a guide to see the others. and a kick. to be yourself.

at first sigh, moralistic. but it is little more. a pledge for discover different common things. to give to the other a second chance. to help him be yourself. sure, it is not great. but it is seductive. first - for message. than - for performance. and for special sense of help. because this is its virtue - remember old things. nothing new. a young man searching his place. a not brilliant job. few Down syndrome people. shoes. a show. and success of a meeting. nothing new. but basic ingredient is measure. it is not a drama and, in fact, it is not a comedy. it is not pledge for values but it seems be a sunshine.a film about dedication and courage as seeds for miracle. that is all. because, for a period, each of us can be an Alex version.

The movie "How many cranberries are in the world?", based on Glada Hudiks Theatres development since 1996, tells how the normal(-disturbed) loser Alex discovers the (dis)abled, changing his lifestyle. What a dis-grace: one more of these political movies, aiming that the neighbor accepts disability. The movie follows the some-years-back-style not only that the neighbor accepts the new neighbor but that the disabled is shameless exploited by society. Before these strangers came to us they were locked up outside town in institutions. The movie is one of the many needed ideas of music groups, theater, cafés, shops. The happy are of course the parents, proud of their children being in the limelight, not looked at but seen. On the Board for this movie writes Cadpic 'Mongoloids are a big deal in Sweden right now': "For the past three years mongoloids have been exploited like hell by the media for the entertainment of dimwitted swedes. Seems like every channel got their own mongo docu-series these days." Alex, a nuisance and loser is suddenly confronted by them, the unwanted, "They are not dangerous, or?" he asks. He meets them and the fairy tale has its course: the loser and the unwanted. The unwanted, treated accordingly by the Greek, the Vikings, Martin Luther and Adolf Hitler. Suddenly this has changed! Has it? Really? Suddenly in the limelight of society. Proud!? They know better than well. They see in the eye of the staff the wanted answer, and well aware of the prize. Nothing is for free. Todays disabled are in the eye of the law 'of age' for a vote, a smoke, may buy whatever, have to pay the rent of their boarding, pay tax as I and you. LSS, the Swedish Law Special Service is the frame of the promised good lifestyle. In the deal of being regarded as 'of age' has to be accepted the recent years social cuts of LSS. The decline of legal help on one side, the movies enchanting fairy tale as veil of reality and truth on the other side. Helped by medias shameless help of seduction under the heading: We want you so well. The truth behind the veil is the reality of increasing poverty (told me by a parent). Unable to defend themselves, in the honey trap as victim of the staffs personal career, trapped by their proud family. As long the frame of power is accepted we can, quoting the IMDb critic, "break rules, .... about doing what you want, not what's right".

This movie is wonderful!! It is really fun, sad, entertaining and just brilliant. Very moving :) It is about a young man who doesn't really know what to do in life, who starts to work with mentally retarded people. They live a very boring life and for example, they spend 8 years trying to learn how to tie their shoes. Alex makes them have fun, something that is not popular with their parents. Instead of treating them like they are sick, he treats them like real, normal people. The movie is about doing what you want, not what's right. It is about breaking many rules in order to win something bigger. This movie will touch your heart in many ways. It is great! Go see it!
