It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
It's the turn to la Bellucci to play twins. This early movie in her career is however maybe her all time best effort in acting: for one time, she did something else than the sexy, apathetic, silent woman with no pulse or dialogues! Indeed here, she plays a dark sister seducing a rich heir and also her good heart twin as backup. As bad critics would think, it's not just about wardrobe changes and i had the real feeling that there were 2 Monica. The story is funny and the director makes poetry and fairy tale with nothing... I wish i could have watched it in french or with subtitles. So that's a great movie paradox: Monicas was amazing as long as she was a newcomer learning the ropes and rules and disastrous as she reached fame!
