Blurring the line between fiction and nonfiction, the film is about co-directors and subjects, Maurane and Billy Pedlow, who are not quite friends and not quite lovers and the true, messy, and kind-of-fucked-up story about how they met. A messy, whirlwind, imperfect, orgasmic, meme-inflected, jump into the rabbit hole of their on-again, off-again situationship, their ultra-micro-budget confession playfully captures the humanity of love and lust in the 21st Century.

Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
Blistering performances.
