Up to Speed is a six-part miniseries hosted by New York tour guide Timothy "Speed" Levitch who takes viewers on a "magical history tour" in order to “hang out and empathize with the inner psyches of famous landmarks and visit with the monumentally ignored monuments.”

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
This is a quirky and funny tour of a city, but it tries a bit too hard and it misses some of the better points of a place in order to make its quirky point. And they could have left out the social banter in order to make some point that has nothing to do with that city.The good news: it is a different view of a place... more of a locals view? The odder things to see in a city.The bad news: it tries so hard to be funny, it misses any spontaneous moments. If you have to mug for the camera to let me know that was a joke, you've missed it.I liked it, but a little goes a long way.
