I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Well if you are a Shannon fan I can highly recommend "Obsessed" co-starring William Devane with a new set of choppers. Plot goes something like A man in his 50s becomes locked in the grip of a dangerous lover young enough to be his daughter. She is f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c and she gets to wear really great pumps and natty suits with big shoulder pads. Its a fave of mine - so good in fact I have it saved to the set top box so I can watch it if I can't sleep. And the scene where she confronts him at the country club is so realistic your skin actually crawls with embarrassment and fear (fear because she is holding on to her Spalding mini learner racquet). Anyway - if it's another rainy day get it as well as well as the chance to see the enigmatic Shannon

My wife watches Lifetime constantly. I derided this movie when it came on, but the sight of shoulder pads on Shannen Dougherty's blazer made it impossible to look away. This file is a great fashion time capsule for the early 90s. There's also acid washed fabric, big earrings, granny boots, long sweater/leggings combo, and lots of teal and purple. Story's really predicable. The denouement scene where the boyfriend and the distant father meet could've had a flashing sign in the background that read "FATHER FIGURE COMPLEX." The scene where Shannen shows up drunk at Devane's house wearing only a trench coat (but somehow having perfectly styled big hair of the era) was hilarious.

OK, I love the "psycho Chick" genre of movie....."Fatal Attraction", "The Crush"....etc, etc....This is definitely not one of those movies....It is however all you'd expect from a Shannon Doherty movie-of-the-week....The good news is that you can watch this one without thinking too much....Perfect way to end a long, hard day....It has really bad, cheesy dialog, and a plot you can figure out within the first 5 minutes of watching....And come on, it's Shannon Doherty doing what she does best....It's not "Fatal Attraction" and she isn't Glenn Close, but I watch this one every single time it's on....Is my IQ a little lower after watching it, probably.....But sometimes TV is supposed to be simple.

Actually, for television, I found it to be a real "time passer". I mean, I could have cleaned my toilet or my toenails, but I was so amused at the fact that someone thought to pair Ms. Doherty with the renown Mr. Devane, that I found myself unusually drawn in. I know it wasn't a good movie, but it wasn't painful. If it's raining outside and you've got the flu and you can't find the remote and you're too weak to walk over to the television to turn the channel, I'd suggest this movie. As for me, I have to be honest. I've always thought William Devane was rather sexy so I probably would watch it again if it wasn't raining, I didn't have the flu and I could find the remote, but on a serious note, I didn't care for Doherty in the role, although she wasn't half bad. In short, it's bearable and slightly, yes, slightly entertaining.
