“Lust” takes us into the lives of the inhabitants of a marginalised street in Alexandria, Egypt, before the revolution. Each character is isolated in their fierce, yet fragile dreams, including Umm Shooq, who has deserted her wealthy family to marry the man she loves. Reviews
It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
