Tobacco Barns Light Studies
September. 17,2020The tobacco plant was introduced to Granada (Southern Spain) in 1923. It became a monoculture in the region until the end of the century. When the tobacco production stopped being profitable, the farmers switched to new crops like wheat, corn or asparagus. However, the lands of Granada are still replete with tobacco barns: large empty houses where the leaves used to be hanged to dry. They inhabit the landscape like architectural ghosts.

Disturbing yet enthralling
Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
