Little pioneer Marusya lives in a room with her parents. But one day, her mom disappears, and dad brings home another woman. The new mother does not like to share the living space with the girl. Then, together with Marusya’s dad, they get rid of her.

Admirable film.
A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
