Brazil, 1974. Dália is a woman trapped in an abusive marriage to Baltazar, an army commander. Her few moments of happiness are those she spends with Rosa, a younger woman who introduces her to a modern and freer world. However, when Baltazar arrives home early and finds Rosa with Dália, the relationship of the two women is put in jeopardy and in order to keep the other woman in her life, Dália is faced with the most complicated decision she has ever made.

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
