Wednesday, December 20, 1995. Cali dresses up to celebrate Christmas and the beginning of the Feria. American Airlines Flight 965 from Miami, carrying 155 passengers and 8 crew members, is scheduled to land around 9:30 pm; but a chain of navigational errors causes it to never reach its destination. The aircraft crashes into a hill, leaving the wreckage in an area of impossible access, dense fog and controlled by guerrillas. A group of rescuers from Cali, including Dr. Quintero, paramedic Perdomo and firefighter Galvis, are the first to react and try to reach the crash site, where they find a big surprise: miraculously. there are passengers who have survived the initial impact and the sub-zero temperatures. The rescuers will have only a few hours to reach them and save them, facing all kinds of obstacles and difficulties.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
