I wish I could rate it a -10. I could only get through 25 minutes of this movie before I had to shut it off. Not only does this movie completely rip off Friday the 13th, but it's so freaking dull and utterly laughable. John Stevenson should be ashamed for writing this garbage and Ralph Portillo should be embarrassed for directing this.I'm saddened that my daughter actually bought this and the sequel (of which I will NEVER watch), but this is the kind of stuff she likes. I like some indie stuff, but this is just ridiculously STUPID.Acting - sucksSound Effects - sucksVisual Effects - sucksBloody Murder - SUCKS!

There is just so many times you can do a typical slasher film about summer camp without running out of ideas.They would have done well to steal some from other films and put them in here, as it really never got very interesting.It was just the same tired old jokes and screams, and you knew who the murderer was half way through. Well, maybe you knew who one of the murderers was. It seems that this is not over as they have a Bloody Murder 2.Jessica Morris and Patrick Cavanaugh in his debut film, made it somewhat interesting, but I am not into PG horror.

A young group of camp counselors gathers to prepare a summer camp for youngsters. Little do they know that in these woods there is a killer who was wronged long ago. A killer who wants revenge. A killer who wears a hockey mask. A killer who name is Jason Voor... I mean, Trevor Moorehouse.This film needs two words to describe it perfectly: shameless and incompetent. Shameless in that is rips off "Friday the 13th" so obviously and it doesn't even try to cover its tracks, but actually goes on as a serious slasher film. The first killing is virtually a direct lift from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Incompotent in that it doesn't even offer in the least what fans of the genre want and enjoy. For a film called "Bloody Murder" even if it is a shameless ripoff, you'd expect gore to accompany the deaths, right? Some kinky sex and nudity, right? Then all the cheesy dialog and generally predictable story would be forgivable, since the film would give what it promises. But that doesn't happen.It doesn't happen in the least. No gore, no nudity, and some of the most lame horror movie murders you can set your eyes on. The obviously unrehearsed acting tops it all off for a truly forgettable (and possibly regrettable) film viewing. Just re-watch "Friday the 13th." --- 1/10Rated R for violence. Ages 13+.

do i see that right guys? you leave it 10points or what? for gods sake, you have to be a B-horror low-minded maniac to love this piece of ... i've seen a bunch of thrillers, horrors but i don't really think something was worse than this one.Jesus. acting terrible, script terrible, cut out of Friday the 13th, a stupid !not even a little bit scary! maniac with a ridiculous mask, going round the campus with a fork or wait, it was a knife..in his hand. notice that blood, i can make some liquid that would look like better than that by myself at home, that murders were so terrible that i laughed all the movie. the end was so predictable that i almost pi*sed my pants laughing. guys, i have seen some low-budgets movies but this is just a nonsense.Friday the 13th, Halloween, and some others, that were the movies where everything was all about fun and some fear but this one? it wont scare you, it wont entertain you by bloody murders either, if you are some that kind of 16 y.o. moron who rewinds videotapes for seeing how did the machete get into someones head. alright, when you are about to see this....movie...at least you know you will laugh when Trevor Moorehouse, or whoever..//can anybody see something in common with Voorhees.? no?// will totter in plan to stab a girl:) better avoid seeing it
