Still reeling from the recent death of her mother, Leah spends much of the Covid lockdown engaged in a Zoom relationship with a younger man. But past traumas, hang-ups and insecurities prevent her from connecting with him beyond their onscreen relationship, causing her to spiral downwards into mental despair. It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
