The Worst Film Ever

Just perfect...

Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

Reservedekk( Spare Tyres) is a 20 minute short film directed by Kenny Wang. The leading character John is driving through the most godforsaken area of Norway. We see that he is drinking something like beer while he is driving. After he finishes his drink, he just throws the can to the back of the car, which looks like a mess filled with cans. At a point John slows down and we realize he accidentally gets a flat tire. He tries to change the tire but he notices that that his car wasn't equipped with a suitable tire.He takes a look around and he sees lots of spare tires at the ditch next to the road and he picks one that would suit his car. Before changing the tire he releases a female captive from the back of the trunk. She appears to have been abducted at first glance. While John is about to change the tire, a seemingly kind stranger happens to pass by them. He offers his tools to make John's job quicker but he is knocked unconscious by the female captive, then we come to know that the female captive is actually John's girlfriend who enjoys sick, gory games. The couple has this quickie sex beside the unconscious guy. Later on, they saw off the limbs of the guy. Then as the credits and the titles follow, we see that the stranger who met his death gruesomely, was actually some sort of a stalker who just follows the road and pesters people stranded on the road. So are we supposed to be happy for the retribution he met? For a movie like Spare Tyres, even 20 minutes sounds too long. The movie promises you nothing than gory violence, porno-like quickie sex. It's pointless, humdrum and uncompelling!
