Paper Knight
Paper Knight
The people of Kharkiv saw death and horror. They looked them straight in the face. Some lost relatives, others lost their homes, their streets, their past, their memories. But Kharkiv residents still have the strength to fight. To gather to read poetry, to discuss writers, to sing lullabies. Shipwright
Shipwright
The documentary "Shipwright" tells the story of two old shipbuilders and Macao's shipbuilding industry. Macau used to have a brilliant shipbuilding industry, which peaked in the 1970s and 1980s. However, with the decline of the local fishery and changes in government policies, Macao's shipbuilding industry gradually declined until the last fishing boat was launched at the Lizhiwan Shipyard in 2006, marking the complete demise of Macao's shipbuilding industry. The once-prosperous Lizhiwan The shipyard was also in ruins. In such a big environment, the older generation of shipbuilders changed their job content for the sake of survival, love and ideals, hoping to give more light and heat to the inheritance of Macao's shipbuilding industry.

VHS (Video Heterotopic System)
This project is inspired by Michel Foucault's concept of heterotopia which refers to physical or mental spaces that have multiple and contradictory meanings at the same time. Several sound and visual archives were used for the creation of this experimental documentary which considers videography as being itself a heterotopia, as much in its content as in its materiality (here, video cassettes). Ideally, this project should be broadcast through two channels (cathode televisions) placed opposite each other and between which the public is invited to circulate.
