Florida Man
Basically we just drove around aimlessly, stopping any time we saw something or someone that interested us and one thing would lead to another and the universe would pull us in one direction or another. Most of what you’re seeing in the final film is the entirety of our interaction with these guys. It was quick and to the point and I didn’t even interview people besides the occasional “Any words of wisdom?” So what we got was a whole bunch of people telling stories and talking about whatever was on their mind. It was a strange and exciting journey that took us to a lot of places we didn’t expect.

He’s living the life every musician dreams of, complete with an internet-phenom girlfriend, rapper/singer “Kitty.” But when she dumps him, Hot Sugar is set adrift. Fleeing to Paris, he tries to regroup, searching for new sounds and a sense of self. Filmmaker Adam Lough mixes scenes of Hot Sugar at work on his vintage recording devices with surprising soul-searching reflections he offers to the camera. As tweets and posts about the broken couple blow up on the internet, Hot Sugar’s road trip presses onward, revealing even more exotic layers of the man and his music. iGod
iGod
People have been asking questions about God since the dawn of humankind and humanity's disagreements about the nature of God have often led to ethnic and religious warfare, the suppression of women, and the debasing of human dignity. Many religions have created rituals and dogmas that separate one from the other and cling to the belief that only they have the "one truth." But are any of them actually right? Can the true essence of God ever truly be understood or explained? iGod traces how the various belief systems about God have evolved into what exists in the present day, and then delves into the many questions about God that so many people have asked throughout history. Perhaps through this exploration we can finally begin to understand what God really is, what God wants, why we are here and how we can create a better world both for ourselves and future generations

Arab Movie
Arab Movie
So many Israelis still wax nostalgic about that old Friday afternoon ritual, back in the times when television had just one channel. Everyone would watch the Arab movie of the week, but did anybody ever wonder how Israel’s official TV station was able to transcend hostile boundaries to obtain these films, and why it insisted on showing movies made by “the enemy”? The Arabic-language movie from Egypt let some of us escape back to our original homeland, and let others peek out from our “villa in the jungle” and catch a glimpse of our neighbors across the border. But most of us didn’t really want to see the people whose culture, anguish, and aspirations were reflected on our screens. “Arab Movie” brings us the stars and the songs, the convoluted plots, and that fleeting moment when we shared the same cultural heroes as everyone else in the Middle East. But this film about the richness and intensity of Egyptian cinema also raises some disturbing questions.

Triokala: The Three Gifts of Nature
Triokala: The Three Gifts of Nature
Caltabellotta is a small town in the far south of Sicily. Born on the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Triokala, its name depends on the three gifts received from Mother Nature: the fertility of its countryside, the sweetness of the water and the ancient fortress on the lace of the mountain, which made the place impregnable, protecting the inhabitants from evil. Over the centuries, the traces of that knowledge somewhere between magic, religion and superstition have been lost in the fog. But you can still recognize the faces of its people, in their relationship with the animal and plant world, in many religious and pagan rituals, an ancient knowledge that marks, even today, the time and the relationship between man and nature.
