This is the story of rags-to-riches corporate tycoon Galava and his family. Galava has amassed a vast fortune but still cannot shake off the discrimination that comes with a dark complexion in a colonial hangover culture that is so obsessed with all things white. In a darkly comic fashion, Galava decides to force an elite Parsi businessman who owns a large debt to him, to marry his very fair and handsome son to Galava's daughter Madhavi.

One day, Gautam ends up murdering his wife's rapists and the family flees to Delhi to escape the village's wrath.
