Synopsis
As one team member transitions into a new role, another is met with hesitation in season nine. Having learned of the Ori's plan to control the mortal plane, the team must find Merlin's secret weapon that may destroy the Ori and ensure the safety of Earth.

As the team embarks upon its tenth year, Vala, a former Goa'uld host turned freedom-fighter, joins SG-1 in their battle to defend the galaxy from the holy war of the Ori. Having discovered the existence of a weapon capable of defeating the Ori, the team is now in a race against time to find it before more systems fall to the influence of the Priors and the threat of the newly arrived Origin fleet.
The season is continued with direct-to-DVD film Stargate: The Ark of Truth.

Dark Skies
Dark Skies is an American UFO conspiracy theory-based sci-fi television series that aired from the 1996 to 1997 season for 18 episodes, plus a two-hour pilot episode. The success of The X-Files on Fox proved there was an audience for science fiction shows, resulting in NBC commissioning this proposed competitor following a pitch from producers Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman. The series debuted September 21, 1996 on NBC, and was later rerun by the Sci-Fi Channel. Its tagline was "History as we know it is a lie."

Sharpe is a British series of television dramas starring Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe, a fictional British soldier in the Napoleonic Wars.
