Synopsis
Host Guy Fieri takes a cross-country road trip to visit some of America's classic "greasy spoon" restaurants — diners, drive-ins and dives — that have been doing it right for decades.

In the Westwood Village section of L.A., three New York buddies are crankin' out the kind of food they want to eat, including a monster "Fat Jerry" hero. In Monterey, Calif., a former bait shop turned seafood grill dishin' up the bounty of this seaside county: fresh abalone sliders and a Dungeness crab feast. And in Aiea, Hawaii, a bowling alley spot with a gourmet twist servin' its famous oxtail soup.

In Kailua, Hawaii, the brothers dedicating their lives to fulfilling dad's lifelong dream of having his own restaurant, and crankin' out island favorites like Hawaiian-style kalbi ribs and mochiko chicken.
